All plans include secure data handling, regular backups, and 24/7 monitoring.
Yes, credits reset every billing cycle. Run past your allocation and the job still finishes; the extra credits bill at your plan's per-credit rate.
Files without page breaks (.txt, .md, source code) bill at 1 credit per 3,600 tokens, $0.02 each. No OCR or vision pass runs, so the same file always costs the same amount.
Your indexed data lives in an encrypted environment scoped to your organization and stays there for the life of your subscription. Cancel and it is held 30 days, then permanently deleted. You can delete any document or collection yourself at any time, via API or dashboard. Captain is SOC 2 Type II certified and undergoes regular independent security audits.
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately: your credit allocation increases right away and billing is prorated for the remainder of the current cycle. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, so you keep your current allocation until then. If you need to adjust usage limits urgently, contact our team at humans@captain.dev and we can accommodate custom arrangements.
